The amount you pay depends on the country the passport is being delivered to.

If you apply online, this cost is automatically calculated when you complete the online application form. Delivery costs for online applications are charged in New Zealand dollars and range from NZD$5 to NZD$56.

Delivery costs for paper applications are charged in the appropriate local currency, depending on which office you send your form to (New Zealand, Sydney or London). See the table below.

If you apply under the urgent service and collect your passport from a DIA public counter, you will not be charged for courier delivery. The counter collect option is not available for applications lodged under the standard service.
