Request to upgrade to urgent processing

If your passport application is in progress but you need to travel soon, use this form to request the urgent passport service.

The urgent service:

  • generally processes passports within 3 working days, plus additional time for delivery
  • costs an extra NZD $215 per application if the application was submitted online. Otherwise, it costs AUD$253.00 per application when using a paper form via our Sydney office, or GBP£133.00 per application when using a paper form via our London office.

You can pay by debit, credit or prepaid card (for example, Prezzy Card).

Once you have completed the form below we will contact you to process your payment and confirm your upgrade.

For each applicant, including yourself, provide the following information as stated on your application confirmation: application number, full name, and date of birth.

Example:

  • AO12345677, Jane Dorothy Doe, 01/01/1989
  • AO87654321, Johnny James Doe, 03/05/1990

Do not include bank account or credit card information. We will take your payment over the phone.
